Registration is being accepted through March 24 for the Alabama Genealogical Society’s spring seminar in metro Birmingham on March 31.
The seminar, ” Data Mining the Records” will be presented by Linda Woodward Geiger. Topics will include U.S. Territorial Papers, 1789-1873; Using Tax Lists to Solve
Genealogical Problems and Estate Records: More than Just Wills.
The seminar begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends with a drawing for door prizes at 3:15 p.m.
It will be held at Samford University in suburban Homewood.
The cost is $35 for AGS members and $40 for non-members. Lunch is on your own.
