Stroll through history: Alabama cities to offer one-hour walking tours

Twenty-five cities and towns in Alabama will offer free walking tours in April, according to an article on al.com, the online home of The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times and The Press-Register in Mobile.

The Saturday tour dates are April 7 ,  April 14,  April 21 and April 28, according to the Alabama Tourism Department.
All tours offered on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and are about one hour long.  Community leaders will lead the tours through historic districts or courthouse squares.
