Listen online: “Secret Lives of Women” at tonight’s Utah Genealogical Association meeting

You don’t have to trek to Salt Lake City to hear tonight’s presentation, “The Secret Lives of Women: Research Using the Sources They Left Behind” at the Utah Genealogical Association. Listen to Gena Philibert-Ortega’s talk through the UGA’s Virtual Chapter.

The virtual chapter meets online the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Mountain Time – that’s 8 p.m. for those of us on Central Time and 9 p.m. in the East.

To participate, go to virtual.ugagenealogy.org, and click on the virtual chapter icon.  When prompted, click on the radio button to enter the meeting as a guest.

Presentations are free and open to the public.  UGA members can access archived presentations.  Membership in UGA is $35 a year.  For more information, go to the UGA website.
The next program, on Nov. 15, will feature Diahan Southard, who will present, “The Basics of DNA Testing for Genealogy.”
