Gulf Coast Mississippi is set for genealogy seminar on March 2

If you happen to be on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in early March, the Ocean Springs Genealogical Society‘s  Spring Seminar is a worthwhile event – and a bargain at just $5 per person. (Lunch is on your own).

The seminar, from 8:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m., will be at the Ocean Springs Library, 525 Dewey Ave., in the meeting room.

Speakers Joyce Griffith, Clarise Soper and Gail Brown Taylor’s topics are, respectively,  “You Read It in the Newspaper? “ ” Indian Research” and “Breaking Through Genealogical Brick Walls.”

Advance registration is requested, as seating is limited to 50.

Ocean Springs is a lovely gem on the Gulf Coast, with quaint boutiques and restaurants.
